Meet the Wild Iris Team!
managing partner - buyer
After many years of road tripping to Lander for all of the amazing outdoor activities, around 16 years ago I found Wild Iris Mountain Sports and my opportunity to finally make a vacation destination, a home.
In addition to oversight of all things Wild Iris, I spend a large portion of my workdays, planning for and buying the apparel selection for the Wild Iris. I feel lucky to help outfit the Lander guys and gals in the most current outdoor fashions.
Outside of work I still rock climb when I can and think about it a lot when I can’t. Long hikes deep into Wind River Mountains with my pup Nel and hubby Brian are pretty darn awesome too.
Originally from the Midwest, I'm proud to call Wyoming my home, and more specifically, Lander. I'm here to become a better climber, keep skiing, and spent as much time as I can in The Winds.
I hope to meet as many people as I can, here at Wild Iris, who share my passion for the outdoors!
I am originally from the Midwest but I came out west to work on large ranches and train horses. I was introduced to climbing in Montana and fell in love with it. I love to climb both rock & ice, as well as hunt, fish, snowboard, run, mountain bike, and go horse packing. I am very happy to be a part of the Lander community.
Wyoming born, I grew up in Cody. I was introduced to climbing my sophomore year of high school, and it has been a constant in my life in some form or another since. I enjoy developing new routes and boulders when I take the time. Road-trips and living in a tent at climbing areas around the West were a prevalent part of my 20s. These trips were enjoyed with my original climbing friends and partners from our high school days. Many good stories can be recounted from those days. At some point we all should grow up a little, so I enrolled in the Computer Networking program at Central Wyoming College, achieving my AAS in that program in May 2012. Two months prior to my graduation, I joined the Wild Iris team and have enjoyed the experience and opportunity. When I came on-board here at the shop I worked the sales floor, but given my penchant for all things computers, except printer installs, I was happy to accept positions in the back office. I am proud to be a part of this team, absolutely appreciate my co-workers and am happy being an integral part of this cornerstone business supported so greatly by the Lander community and beyond!
Originally from Cincinnati, Ohio, I moved to Lander in March of 2016 to pursue an WEMT certification… and then never left! A few of my favorite activities include hiking, horseback riding and crafting. I spend my days off exploring the beautiful Wind River Range, playing with my dogs and creating art. I feel very lucky to work here at Wild Iris as it has given me the opportunity to meet some wonderful people and learn about all that Lander has to offer.
Being born and raised in Wyoming, Sheridan to be specific, Lander had always been on my radar. Since I love dolomite pocket pullin’ and crawling around the big mountains, I jumped on the chance to move here instantly in August 2016. While at school in Bozeman, MT for the last 5 years, I spent my time skiing/climbing, sampling local pizza and beer, and taking trips to different cliffs all over the US and Canada. I am excited to explore Lander and everything it has to offer with both new friends and old!
