Hear how they approach multipitch climbing and how it helped shaped the new Free Wall Kit. Josh brings a lifetime of alpine, sport, and big wall experience, and is known for quietly refining systems that make climbing faster and more efficient. Lor has been pushing limits on Northern Arizona’s technical “mini big walls” and helps climbers overcome the psychological and physical barriers that hold them back. There will be short films, conversation + Q&A, a stacked raffle prize line-up, free pizza and beer—and a chance to check out the Free Wall Kit. Help us celebrate all of Lander’s incredible dream trails as we kick off the summer season with Mountain Hardwear. About Liz Derstine & her new short film, ‘Ridgeline’: After completing two master’s degrees at the Longy School of Music, composer and musician Liz Derstine heads into the wilderness to chase another big goal: attempting a self-supported Fastest Known Time on the Pacific Crest Trail. This event was a huge success last year and we’re excited to host it again! Come shop or sell used gear. We know there’s a lot of it here in Lander. ☀️ This event is free to attend and does not require registration. ☀️ If you are selling your own items, arrive before 9am then remain present 9am-noon and keep all the proceeds. ☀️ If you want Wild Iris to sell them for you, items can be dropped off and paperwork completed anytime between now and BEFORE 9am on Saturday. For items Wild Iris sells, you will be issued 75% of the selling price in store credit on your customer account after the event. Items not sold will be either held for in-store consignment, or you will be asked to pick them up at our discretion. Call or text 307-332-4541 with questions, but we hope to see you Saturday morning!
