If you are road tripping to Lander from anywhere south and east of town there is a good chance you will get a glimpse of these spectacular granite domes. Sweetwater Rocks is home to many traditional routes, bouldering and some fun hiking as well. Most of the rock is situated on BLM. The best time to explore this area is April-June and September- November. Summer temperatures can be too hot.
